Clean the surfaces and get some good contact cement, ask the folks at one of
the box stores for contact cement for attaching wood veneer, then follow the
instructions on the can

Subject: [DIY] Fixing veneer
I bought a desk from walmart, after all the time putting it together,
wouldnt you know it, the veneer around the top edge of the drawers started
peeling in no time. How can this be repaired so that its attractive for
resale or longer term keeping. Its a very deep brown. I just put scotch
tape at present to prevent more peeling but that interferes withh closing
drawers a little.
