We had a problem with mice for years ... tried everything ... cats traps electronics ... if it was on the market we bought it. The problem was solved when a hardware store recommended "Just One Bite" bars, manufactured by Farnam Companies . Evidently it somehow dehydrates them, because they even chewed through plastic bottled water container to get to moisture after they had eaten the poison. I'd say withing 3 weeks the problem was solved, and we started the clean up. You will need to keep replacing the bars, about a year ago I got careless, and sure enough they started showing up again, put fresh bars out and they were gone. I diligently replace the bars as they [the bars] dry out. Usual disclaimer, I'm not associated in any way with the company ... it sure worked for us, trust it will work for you.
