I'm thinking you're thinking of someone else. So far all the work on the
house has been done by my contractor because it's all above my skill level.
I've watched and offered opinions, but mostly stayed out of the way. All of
the work that's been done has been major stuff - new roof, demolish and
rebuild the front porch, demolish the cement block garage, rewire the entire
house, rebuild the back porch. None of this is even something I want to
touch. I know my limits, and I'm not a youngster any more. All of this,
and some other stuff like plumbing, is to get the house to the place where I
*can* do stuff, like paint, put up crown molding, etc.
