[DIY] Pump prime

 

I turned off the breaker labeled pump and turned on the sink.  Some water came out then the pipes went dry.

Now I turned on the pump breaker but no I water flows.  My guess is that I lost the prime.

Of course I have no idea where the pump is.  Neighbor says it is under the house.  Is there any chance that I could break the pipe to the water softener and prime it from there?
