that’s great news. It’s *the* airpot in Japan. We have the handle-less commuter mugs and it keeps our coffee hot well into the late afternoon.
Pricey but you only have to buy it once.

Subject: [DIY] OT - Coffee Hot Pot Review
For anyone who might be wondering, the Zojirushi does keep coffee hotter, longer. I checked the temps the first day we used it - I don't remember the exact numbers but if it's preheated with boiling water, and emptied through the pump as suggested, it only loses a few degrees of heat over 24+ hrs. I fill it with boiling water while my coffee is brewing so it's preheated when DH is ready for a second pot. We have a cuisinart coffee pot that brews hot and put it in as soon as it brews. When the tornados were rolling through last week, I filled it before we went to bed in case the power went out and it was definitely hot when we got up - and stayed hot till empty. The dispenser is easy to use, opens and closes by sliding a button and I love the fact it dispenses an entire cupful with one press on the lever. It swivels a full 360 degrees so easy to use from any angle.
