Hi Ed;
Since you only want a pilot light, to show that it is working,
perhaps it can be a tiny light, like the ones used in light switches
and continuity testers. The draw is so minute that it will have
virtually no effect on the circuit. Those little tester bulbs work
for 220 as well as 110V.
