If I read the original post correctly, we are being asked about repairing a hose reel connector part.
My understanding is that it is a 90 degree elbo with fittings to attach the hose on the reel to and a
short hose to go from the reel to the faucet. Probably will be a manufacturer replacement part.
Is it metal. plastic, or of garden hose material?

You can buy repair ends for garden hose at a hardware store. You cut off the old fitting, push the new end into the hose, and tighten the clamp that comes with the part. You can get several kinds of plastic ends, or several kinds of brass ends. I prefer the brass ones that secure with a hose clamp.

I have stripped the threads on the connector for my garden hose. Is there any way to cut new ones?If not is there a way to take this thing apart and buy a new connector?
