Just curious how long it takes for the tankless to break even on costs and then start actually saving. My summertime gas bill is $22.00 (more frequent showers and more laundry), so winter must be close to the same monthly cost. I figured it would take a long time to save enough energy to make up the cost of the tankless unit , though maybe not if you have to replace the heater anyway. I haven't priced them in awhile, but memory is that they are much higher cost than the conventional water heaters.
Where in the bathroom did you install? I'm guessing you have a vanity that hides it? Probably wouldn't work well with a pedestal sink, but maybe the unit isn't all that intrusive.
