We put up a Trex deck (first generation). It has faded a great deal and the grain of the pretend wood has lifted. I was wondering if Trex can be painted or stained? The rails are real wood and painted but we accidentally dropped some paint on the Trex steps. Is there something we can use to get the drops off? Now you would think if the paint I dropped stuck to the steps, then it might be paintable, but who knows how long that would last and how it would hold up to traffic. Anyone had any experience?
