I got foam cleaner for the coils today at Home Depot and gave it a good scrubbing, then ran the AC again. My typical breaker trip was at 15 minutes yesterday. Today, it made it to about 23 minutes before tripping in fairly similar weather conditions. So it definitely helped the current draw but the breaker still tripped.
Haven't changed out the breaker yet (waiting for a friend with electrical experience to examine the bussbar for me), that's also on the list today.
Any other low-cost things I can do to troubleshoot before calling the HVAC guy?
