 So...all this was a lot of "cold air'' (and opposed to hot air!! hahaha)
for the last 2 weeks of bandwidth!!  

I would've thought it was one of the first places to look...

So we all learned something here...Occam's Razor says
in a multitude of choices or solutions or problems...the
simplest patch/choice/answer is usually the best/correct
answer...

Mystery solved. We were about to call in the HVAC service to evaluate the ductwork, when there was a big wind storm yesterday. We now know for a fact the cold air problem is coming from the seals on our windows. Thank you to every one for all the great information.
