You might have problems with melting snow going up and over the ridges.
Building 12x16 shed with pent roof (single slope), 2-12 pitch. Trying to keep it simple.
Websearch is not much help, and the people at metal mart have never ever been any help whatsoever.
2-12 seems to be in a dead zone between anything people talk about online -- they seem to go from 1/4-12 to 3-12, and not much other than standing-seam.
I've built 3 or 4 structures this size and smaller, but always a steeper pitch, and the easy-peasy ribbed sheet steel roofing panels with overlapping edges has worked great.
Would those 1" overlapping ridges keep rain out well enough on a 2-12 pitch? Or I vaguely remember seeing some sealant tape for those overlaps... ???
TIA
Joy
