[DIY] Primer Needed?

I am getting some new T-111 boards up on the side of my house to replace some that have rot on them as well as some treated wood to go on the corners.  My question is, do these need to be primed before painting them to match the house?

Same question on rails that have now been replaced.  Just treated wood rails that one buys at the big box stores.

In all cases I am painting with "Woodscapes" exterior house stain from Sherwin Williams.
