Patrice: It's a bit more work, I feel, because it's somewhat more difficult to conceptualize a cutout on the diagonal. For example, a corner cutout is relatively easy when the pattern is parallel to the wall. It can be sort of a challenge when the cutout, on the tile, is at a 45° angle to the wall.
Again, IMHO, it is a gorgeous look when completed and it always looks and performs/lasts like it was put down professionally.
