You probably have a tight or binding spot in that position. There should be an adjustment in the unit that stops a doors power if there is an obstruction in it's path. If a tight spot is just a bit tight, that clutch might be able to be adjusted to overcome it. But - for safety, if it's set to strong it might not shut off if a person or? is in its path. See if you can find a manual on the unit, it'll explain that adjustment. Ed
