[DIY] Garage shelf

 

Im wanting to use scrap wood to put up shelf in garage organized area. I'm gonna look for small brackets at HD but wondered if anyone had a sturdy simple cheap idea on stabilizing a shelf to a wall. All I can think of is making triangles. But not easy to nail into wall unless you do it at angle ( toe?).
