Mike, what you are describing is probaby not termites, but powderpost beetles. Still not a good thing. Depending on your weather, you might be able to freeze them to death if the temperatures in your area fall below 0*F. I would suggest you return the reindeer to the artist you purchased from and ask for a replacement with one that is not infested.
