coyote urine. Buy it at a feed store. Sprinkle around where you want them out of.

I don't want to hurt the little guys but is there some way of keeping them out of the garden area?

I just let my Dogs out in the yard, they love to chase squirrels. The squirrels seem to learn not to go into the yard after awhile. Although it is a pain in the butt when the dog comes to the back door with a big smile and a squirrel in its mouth :)

RE: [DIY] Susan...trubledsoul

That is a new one on me.  Maybe I need to go that route.  I used to love to get a garden sprayer filled with Varsol and spray a wasp nest and then run like hell.  Varsol is amazing. It does something to the Wasp nervous system.  It paralyzes them on the spot.  They either fall to the ground writhing or hang on to the nest and quiver for a while. If they get it on them, they cannot fly.

Did I say that I hate wasps and yellow jackets?

The only thing that might look like a bird feeder
is the wasp traps we bought-3" diamter x 10" high
yellow tube-ish structures handing from trees..that
trapped our large wasp colony they built on the end'
of our porch.

It was a comment on what looked like a picture of a bird feeder. You asked what it was, you didn't recognize it.
