[DIY] Stucco Cracks

 

We have a stucco home with trim that goes around the garage door. The trim was also stuccoed. The trim has developed some deep cracks and is
pulling away from the stucco wall. DH has tried to put a long screw in it to pull it back tight to the top of the garage door but it pulls out. I am not sure....maybe the trim is not wood but some sort of plastic or foam. Any ideas how to fix this?
