If this is the type of filter where the fuel line pushes into the filter and snaps in, you'll need to get a tool, Plastic or metal from the auto parts store, that you put over the line, press in and releases the lines from the filter. The auto parts store or a good Repair manuel checked out from the library, or info online, should be able to guide you.
