The first commercially available copier was the Xerox 914, introduce in 1959. I started working on 'puters in 1973 programming an IBM Systems 370 Model 158 at the UICC Engineering and Computer center. In the early 80's there were still some 914's out there.

I started working with computer in the early 60's and open defiance was built into those early monsters. Copiers had not been invented yet.
