There is no way that the sensor is that good, especially when it states that
if you walk towards it, it is not very sensitive, that it works best when
something crosses it's path, I would try just try a "cheap" piece of black
electrical tape over the sensor with the sensitivity on lowest setting.

for Support, so may want to call and ask if it's possible. Again, they say
it's not a repairable, so doubt you can modify it.
Motion detection uses infra red, so blocking it would work. Not sure what
