I'm thinking about using some of the bricks as simply a base to put a pet house on top of to keep it off of the ground.
One option would simply be to stack bricks (without any bonding agent) that would sit underneath the bottom edges of the house. There would be no bricks under the front wall so that a pet can crawl and sit underneath the house.
Another option would be to simply stack the bricks in one big rectangle as an entire floor for the house to sit on.
Do you think the first version (open air underneath the house) would keep the house any warmer during the winter compared to the 2nd version? Or vice versa? Thanks.
