It's supposed to work sort of like a cross between regular pliers and vise grips. It's just supposed to give more grip, probably not as much as vise grips, but much quicker because you don't have to twist the adjustment knob to get the right tension. You just squeeze it and it tightens on its own.

I have a Robo Grip II wrench set. I got it because a friend of mine got it and liked it. My question is how does one use it? I have never found it useful since when I use it and squeeze the jaw slips. My friend died so I cannot ask him. Any ideas?
