Nooooooooooo.... Metal Doors are "perfect." Adjust elsewhere.
2 things...
1) you may have a "buildup of tolerances. IOW, each may beed a tiny tad of adjustment.
2), Look at overall position of the door. Houses sag, and lean. Original install my have been perfect, -or- compensated for that which is no longer the case. LOOK carefully at all the "margins,"
around the door... that's the gaps.

Your eye is required, as measurement is almost not possible. These will tell you if there is lean. It may be that 1/4 of the answer is in a mutual adjustment of the bolt and knob, 1/4 in both strikes, (as the hole behind them is usually larger,) AND a simple layer or two of cereal box cardboard behind a hinge, can move things HUGEly.
This may take you a few efforts.

Remove the boards on the bottom of the pallet and use them.
W/o details or purpose, we must assume least cost & effort.
