call a local hvac contractor to see if it is even feasible. with an older system (presumed) removing the refrigerant, moving the unit, reinstalling the unit on a different structure, cleaning the refrigerant lines and reinstalling the refrigerant may be near the cost of a new system that would be more efficient and have a warranty.
