[DIY] Re: bathroom remodel questions

 

I have had both and have not seen a difference.  The chrome fixtures will look pretty much the same in 15 years as they do when they are new if you keep them clean.  My pewter ones....the same.  Hard water can spot them though.  I have never had a bathroom faucet fail but I have had a kitchen one needing to be replaced after several years, probably because it is used so much.
