and if all you intend on using it for a 5 to 7 thousand watt model should do
fine, during Katrina we ran a fridge, a freezer, two fans, some lighting,
and the direct tv with a 6000 watt gasoline generator.

A natural gas unit is not what you want then. Typically nat/LP/tri-fuel
units are larger (7+ kW) and automatic standby.

What is your budget?
