Yes, BUT -
My SIL got her mom a cheap bathroom redo, incl a small cabinet with
a 1pc sink/countertop. The sink has no overflow. (BTW, They are usually
an ugly vertical hole, in this type.) The incl'd hardware is cheap. The
drain plug won't lift much and air trapped beneath actually occludes
the
water's draining. Real PITA. An overflow would let this water escape
better.
(This is not a drain-plug list adjustment issue, aside from the fact
that
it lifts poorly due to design.)
While I'd skip it for a fancy surface mount sink, I like them for
child-forgettfuilness-safety. If you skip it, us good drain plumbing.
not cheap 1/18 - 1 1/4. Use the 1 1/2, w/ decent sized components and
quality.
