Re: [DIY] loose spade fork and insulated handles

Insulated, my burro...!
They don't care a rat's donkey about your burro!
WOOD takes costly (times-taking) measures.
This is buyers, inspectors, growers.

The result is "Who wants to underbid on this "plastic."
garden-variety non-professional-strength? tool handle.

FWIW, I am un-young, and selected a less-common 4 lb
"landscaper's" soil/root-ax'mattox, versus may 5lb versions,
form other or the same, company. Easier swing. Accurate.
(Home Depot. Last one.)

Tough, does not intercede w/smarts. Each, to their own.

Costly tools are great. BUT SOMEtimes a cheap Husky or
Ryobi or McCullock chainsaw, is the correct tool!!!!!!!!!!!

For those whose bid is $300, and the toll is $100-150, AND
they get to use it again or pass it on, OR JUST enjoy
DOING versus vegetating, "HEYYYyyyyy," as Fonzie would say...

It's CHOICES...
MOST'a you can do stuff, IFF (math for, IF and ONLY If,) you
WANNA. (The bible says, "Seek & you shall find." SAME stuff!)

I am sorta a Pro. But for SOME uses, an inexpensive tool, used
carefully, is the right answer. This can be your situation.
Carefully used, they will be able to be passed on to generations,
in some cases. Batteries, excepted. And to a slight degree, that
can be an issue.

I got a Nikon camera, decades ago, for 1 main reason. If I EVER
decided to do, Medical Grade photography, or etc, they HAD THE
ONLY accepted lens, flash, etc, for same. Motor/film drive upgrade?
Yes!

Ok. NOW they have stopped making non-digital cameras. (I curse
them, and bought a Pentax at a garage sale... LOL!) But a crappy
chainsaw, used little, well attended, will become a small heirloom.
"Hey - G'ma used this. And it still works..!"

Choices. Different. Not always, bad.

Complain to Ames,& buy another, non-Ames, after getting store-credit.
You tried; twice. Write Ames AND Home Depot/other...
THIS gets stuph fixed, for future generations.
Or 6 months; whichever comes first. ;>)

"The only thing it takes for evilt to succeed, is for a good man
to do nothing." (Who said it????)

Best -!
