Hi Carmen;
What is the height difference, between the house floor and
the existing "shed" slab? (how much do you need to raise the
floor?)
You might be able to build the "enclosed corridor" as a
bridge, between the structures, so that it needs no foundation.

Building projects are usually that way. I just did an inspection
on a HUD foreclosure house we bought. Before we put in the
bid, I had seen some plumbing that needed replacing, but it did
not seem to be a big deal, in terms of wanting the house, and
bidding enough to get it. But, what I found was that the former
owner was an angry sort, who appears to have taken it out on
the plumbing when he lost the house for not making payments.
I have not found a single plumbing run that was not vandalized.
Fortunately it is a small house, with a low ceiling basement, so
tearing it all out, and replacing it with PEX is probably a pretty
good idea anyway. But, the extent of the destruction caught
me by surprise. I don't understand people like that.
