I would choose spray foam it's fast and good.  Google Tiger Foam they sell kits which cover 200 and 600 board feet.  Advantage stops all drafts and most bugs.  A board Foot is 200 bf is 200 square feet 1 inch thick R 7.  Less expensive but good insulation is foam sheets.  You can get a similar effect with foam sheet between the studs and canned urethane foam around the edges.  Not sure if it would be cheaper depends on how good you are with the urethane and if you can by it at a good price.
