RE: [DIY] Toilet Whistle

 

Sounds like a restriction in one of the valves.  
 
If it's from the angle stop coming out of the wall (or floor), yurn it off, upscrew from the fill valve and, using something to catch the water, turn it on and off a few times. 
 
If it's from the fill valve in the toilet, then shut off the angle stop, opening up the fill valve, then with your hand on top, open up the angle stop. 
 
In either case, something (like rust) should come out.  If it doesn't work, you may have to replace the valve that's whistling.  They are not that expensive.

Everytime I flush  the toilet, it whistles very loudly until the tank is full. It is quite annoying - especially when you have company!!!    Any ideas?
