Good ideas and I like the extra storage area. I want so much to give it a home look and take away that shed image.

We pick out windows on friday and will install them ourselves...

So that area under a building with no basement is called a "crawl space" ?

If it doesn't actually have windows, you can still put 2 shutters together simulating closed shutters on a window.
24" is a good amount of space to store such as lumber or ladders.

I'd love to be able to have a stone-work look under this shed but it might be price prohibitive.
I had thought about the concrete board that comes in sheets but then I'd like to have it look a bit nicer than just a concrete bottom. I know it needs to be vented.

I had thought the HD crew was just going to set the base runners on the slab, leaving a 6" gap, but the extra height will work well for us in trying to tie the trailer in to the shed with a breezeway.

Also, what is a good interactive group to discus landscaping questions?
