If you are going to later add a floor and did not compensate for height under the cabinets when base cabinets were installed, make sure you compensate for height before adding countertop.... especially w/ dishwasher....
** Is very frustrating to have to remove a marble/ slate countertop so that you can get an old DW out and a new one in, because the floor is too high in front of the dishwasher and countertop too low
