This never occurred to me and no one mentioned it. Fortunately we have a couple inches to spare with the DW, if it ever comes to that.The concrete "paint" is a water based concrete solid color stain / or a solvent based concrete solid color sealer. So although it's applied like paint, and referred to as concrete paint, it isn't a true paint. We are already moved in and money has been flying out the door so want something easy to apply. My husband is against anything that is 1) going to cost money or 2) going to mean more work for him. We have area rugs so the bare concrete doesn't bother him like it does me.
