Yes. You might go ahead and replace the ballcock as well. That is the mechanism the water line attaches to and has the float or other device on it inside the tank. The overflow pipe is not related to this part nor is a leak on the water pipe unless it is running along the surface from the center and down the pipe. Unlikely.
