Re: [DIY] Sealing Grout

Easy to do but unless it's new grout I'd clean it first. I've used several brands and never had a problem with any of them.  Right now I have DuPont Heavy-Duty Tile and Grout cleaner, they also make a sealer in different finishes.  Got it at  Lowes.  No special tools needed other than maybe a small brush, you just want the grout to absorb the sealer.  Follow directions on the bottle about how long to let it sit and how to clean the tiles.

Hi,

Since I have a few days off at Thanksgiving, I thought this would be a good time to seal the grout in the kitchen. I've looked at a few websites on how to do this, but I thought I would as the ListMind for any tips you might have. I'm particularly interested in knowing what products and tools you found most useful, and the best way to prep it.

Thanks,
Marianne
