>Hats Off to you!
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer my formica-sealing
question.
I come from SillyCom Valley. We mention even bad ideas, as folks
laugh and it sometimes germinates a ~"No, but what if we..."
I'm concerned that wax won't work atop the green Tilelab stuff, or
visa versa.
I decided last night that if you have the hair drier out, mebe you
could
run that (with a spreader if ti has one) along the top of the counter
at
a 45, and the wax RIGHT behind it. this localized the temp change,
MAYBE that will lessen glue & potential separation issues. (Cloth
Gloves or leather in this case?) Now with your 3rd hand, mop up
excess wax before it hardens? If you use a 1 sided razor, you can
scratch the counter again. There IS a plastic razor blade made for
such stuff.
>I'm going to try the Green Bottle from Ace Hardware. I might goive the
hot wax a try on a small area to see how it does. You have many great
ideas on how to apply.

Last thought, replace it.
Possible idea for future bungle:
I once spilled red wine on a tiny expensive lace tablecloth.
I QUICK stuffed it all into the glass. 3 washings later, only we
knew it had a slight lavendar-ness hue.
No way would I have risked bleach on it. Maybe hydrogen peroxide,
but I was clueless about it's many virtues then. HEY! It MAY work on
your stains, & is a buck a bottle...!
