I do know that propane burns hotter than natural gas and the gas stoves do have a valve to adjust from one to the other. ask around and see if anyone knows about gas and can help you.

hi, I know that now. However the old stove, didn't have a problem boiling water in a timely manner. This one takes a half hour to boil water, for pasta,
and doesn't come to a second boil unless I cover it.
