Re: [DIY] Black Ants in Lawn

Mix some boric acid with non-dairy coffee creamer, and, maybe some powdered sugar. Place it in small bowl near the mound. This mix will attract any kind of insects. They eat it, and die. They never wise up to it, and never become immune.

There is one spot that has mounds of big black ants in the lawn. My son stomped the area down when cutting the grass but, as expected, they came back. It seems there are maybe four mounds all in that one patch. Any ideas? The area is about 18 to 24" across. It's about 20 feet from the house.
