A dehumidifier ADDS heat to a room. It is essentially a window AC sitting inside the room, putting the heat it is moving AND the all of the heat created from all of the electricity it uses back into the air. Get an AC. Doug ex refrigeration and air conditioning tech

Tropical heat wave in Ga. We are growing mosquitos in the air here in the last few days.
Can someone recommend a good dehumidifier for about a 700 sq. ft. area? High efficiency and decent times between emptying the water. QUIET, if possible.
