Hi all. I live in an old schoolhouse. I am not a carpenter by trade but I am mechanical and learning as I go. Despite having vaulted my living room to a height of 24' with a walkway and spiral staircase......I still have 10 gazillion questions on things I don't know how to do or not sure of. I did work in building trades as a sheetmetal worker for 15 years so it's not out of reach.
I have several bedrooms and an upstairs to finish. One at a time.
Currently working on a bedroom pulling the old paneling off the walls. I guess paneling is a thing of the past so ill be rocking it. First obstacle I notice I have to retrim the windows because of the sheetrock thickness. Joy. The woodwork is trashed anyhow.
It might sound like I know what im doing but the questions will come lol. PS.........I hate doors.
