Re: [DIY] 2nd question re plumbing

Photographs and some floor plans would be a lot of help, otherwise we are all shooting in the dark.

I want to bring water lines from the kitchen to a small closet that I hope to eventually make a half bath.  It's approx 20' from the kitchen water and maybe 30' to the main plumbing/electrical connections.  Not sure if they will have to go up and over or down and over.  Lower floor, the barn is all open so pipes can be run with no problem.  The staircase is about in the middle of the "house" right next to the kitchen so connections can't be run straight across.  The satellite TV, Internet guys ran their wires up, over the staircase, through the "attic" then down where they needed them.

Note - I don't need this hooked into the septic, just an outlet is fine since it will just be for brushing teeth, washing up etc.

Thanks for any advice.  I have a contractor working with us but he's so busy he can't get to these items till next year.  Have a handyman coming Monday morning to look at it but don't want problems down the line so wondering if I should try and find a plumber to do it.
