He cheated!  Showed up with something he called a Makita.  Looked like a disc grinder.  Made a lot of sparks and the part that fell off was too hot to pick up for a while but the adapter now fits in the receiver.

The kid next door does not respect solid bars.  He came over yesterday with a DeWalt rechargable and wore out his battery.  So he is returning this pm with a corded model.  We will see how far he gets.
