Thank you Carmem, yes I have lots of questions. We've had plans to do this for many many years, just happened the opportunity came up when least expected. Everyone thinks we're crazy to sell our big, beautiful home to live in a barn but we love it. My neighbors are cows to the south and horses to the north and if you stand just right, everything you can see is ours, LOL. We really want to do the majority of it ourselves but the things that are outside our capabilities I want to get done right away, preferably before hard winter sets in. Decided to get the living quarters done first but taking longer than expected. We only have portable heaters in the barn area till we get to the point of actually extending our living quarters down there. I naively expected we could have it done by Christmas but didn't count on everyone being too busy to take on new jobs right now.
Welcome back, I expect we will be hearing a lot from you!
We've finally moved, bought a barn to renovate and activating my membership.
