Jan...you are the one paying the bill ——— Yeah, LOL, that's the problem. I can't honestly say he made an error since I didn't specifically say make all the new ones white, so don't expect him to eat that expense, and he's too expensive to pay for his time to have them all redone.
Aki, it's the actual electrical outlet, not the switch plate. I've seen them painted in old houses where people didn't remove them first and always thought it was tacky but I'd do a better job, LOL. This is a wooden structure, lots and lots of wood. We're paying a small fortune to have gas lines/wiring etc replaced throughout the entire place & brought up to current code (even though we don't have any restrictions in our county), so I don't want to do something foolish that might be the cause of a problem.
