Re: [DIY] old floor covering - asbestos ???

 

Looks to me to be terrazzo flooring.  I love this type of flooring.  If it can be cleaned up w/o major damaged areas left, I would save and use it.  Google for more information on Terrazzo.  I would not suspect asbestos, but likewise I would not expect any usable flooring underneath it.

Asbestos or something else I should just cover, instead of looking to see if there's a salvageable wood floor under there?
