In one kitchen, I literally knocked down part of the wall behind the sink (2nd floor) where the ants were marching in from, and I threw gobs of boric acid behind the wall & sink. Yes ... it worked for a long, long while. I was "trying" to invent a backsplash where I could remove part of it from time to time and throw more BA down, LOL, but it would take more brain power and know-how than I have but it sure was a good idea and would be still if I could effect it. Tile the background, make a few slats there are removable and voila! throw the BA down behind the sink. :-)

I haven't contributed, because my bathroom has been overrun this past summer, but wanted to say Thank you for all the advice.
I had tried BA before, but it's been awhile, and that was for fleas (it wasn't that effective or we didn't treat everything)
I've used diatemaceous earth, for fleas last summer, but it stops working when it gets wet, so not great in the bathroom.
I am definitely, with the cold weather, gonna do the BA treatment to keep the creepies from stealing my warm air!
Can you make the Rhodale mix into pellets, to throw under the house & hit it from all angles?
Thanks for all yalls good advice!

RoachPruf is only about 10% BA. The packages you get in the drug store is
99.5% pure (medical quality). So, you get more active BA for the money.

You can also buy it in bigger cans, it is called "Roach Pruf", when we built
the walls we put it inside the walls! And behind baseboards and cabinets.
