You should have seen the drywaller that finished a couple of rooms in my house, he stood on a five gallon mud bucket and hopped across the room as he mudded a seam on the ceiling! That guy had talent!

the answer is spot on,and he other devise mentioned are stilts that drywallers use to mud and finish the drywall.I have only seen them used by contractors that do skin coat paster.

A paint hopper is a funnel device which attaches to a spray nozzle to hold texture compound to be spray painted onto a surface. Google it to see all about it.
